...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Nueces River near Three Rivers.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, Significant flooding reaches miles from the
main channel, flooding homes in the flood plain near Three Rivers
to Lake Corpus Christi. Up to 4 feet of water is in River Creek
Acres Subdivision, flooding several homes. Kellner Camp along
County Road 336 floods, with water several feet deep surrounding
homes. Antelope Lane is flooded cutting off access to J.I. Hailey
Subdivision at Jones River bend. Water approaches the base of homes
along the river in Buckeye Knoll Subdivision, 2 miles west of
Swinny Switch.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 1.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
Tuesday morning and continue rising to 39.3 feet Wednesday
evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SUNDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Frio River at Tilden.

* WHEN...Until late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Moderate flooding occurs. The flow is to
the slab elevation of the lowest businesses and homes in Tilden.
Numerous roads and low bridges flood and become very dangerous to
motorists. Hundreds of livestock are trapped and potentially
drowned in the flood plain, below Derby to the Choke Canyon
Reservoir.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 26.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 715 PM CDT Fri Jul 24 2026 was 27.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
Sunday afternoon and continue falling to 8.0 feet Wednesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
